Welcome to the M.W.M Research Lab!

We are a research lab at Nanyang Technological University, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Singapore. Led by Asst. Prof Matthew Wei Ming Tan (M.W.M), we work at the interface of polymer mechanics and materials design, developing high-performance polymer networks for extreme mechanical and environmental conditions. Our goal is to advance polymer technologies that demand performance and durability. At the same time, we integrate end-of-life considerations by designing polymer systems with recyclability or biodegradability, supporting a circular materials economy.
